Uwira is looking for an inspector

We are currently looking for an inspector for a position in Vaasa! Your duties will include inspecting welded piping using various measuring instruments, analyzing measurement results, and making decisions regarding follow-up actions. You will work closely with the entire production team, so we are looking for a team player with strong interpersonal skills. The role requires problem-solving abilities and decisiveness to support decision-making and ensure quality assurance. Previous experience in similar roles or in quality control, as well as knowledge of welding and CNC machine programming, is considered an asset.

Work will begin once a suitable candidate is found. The position will initially be a temporary assignment through Bolt.Works, with the aim of transitioning to direct employment with the client company after the probationary period.

We expect you to have

  • Relevant technical training (e.g., machining)
  • At least three years of prior experience in similar roles or the metal industry
  • Good proficiency in Finnish and English
  • The ability to document work and use various IT systems efficiently
  • Skills in reading technical drawings and 3D modeling/software proficiency
  • An efficient and meticulous work ethic
  • The ability to work independently as part of a team
  • Blueprint reading skills
  • Professional pride and a positive attitude towards work
  • A desire for long-term employment
