Keimo Kalliosaari Has Been Appointed New CEO of Leinolat Group

The board of Oy Leinolat Ab has appointed Keimo Kalliosaari as the new CEO. Keimo will start as CEO of the parent company and of Leinolat Group on January 1, 2025. Current CEO Lars-Erik Schöring, who has led Leinolat Group for 9 years, continues the development of the group as the Chairman of the parent company and as Director in the boards of the Leinolat subsidiaries.

Keimo Kalliosaari is a seasoned industry leader with over 25 years of experience at ABB Oy, where he has held several leadership positions, leading the ABB Motors & Generators business both in Finland and globally. Over the past three years, he has provided consulting services to Finnish SMEs and international companies through his own consulting company.

"I'm grateful to the Leinolat board for electing me as CEO of Leinolat Group, and I look forward to the turn of the year and the new challenges ahead. It feels great to be trusted to develop a group of strong companies."

Current CEO Lars-Erik Schöring, who has successfully led Leinolat Group for 9 years, has decided to retire at the end of the year. Lasse continues to be actively involved in the development of the over 60-year-old family business group. Lasse will be the new Chairman of the parent company and Director in the boards of the Leinolat subsidiaries.

"We would like to thank Lasse for his excellent work as CEO and Group CEO and we wish Keimo luck and success in his new position. Keimo has a solid background to drive Leinolat Group's development to the next level, says Jan-Erik Nordmyr, current Chairman of Leinolat Group.

Excellent Conditions for a Successful Future

The new CEO expresses strong trust in the group's future:

"Led by Lars–Erik Schöring, Leinolat Group, a family business from Vaasa, has claimed its place as a supplier of demanding products and services both in the domestic and export markets. Committed and highly skilled personnel, on all levels of the companies, have enabled the group's profitable growth over business cycles. On this basis, we have excellent conditions to build a successful future together with our employees and customers."

The current CEO of Leinolat Group, Lars-Erik Schöring, commented on the appointment:

"I would like to congratulate Keimo and wish him success as he takes up the position of CEO of Leinolat Group at the beginning of the new year. I am fully convinced that under Keimo's leadership, Leinolat Group's excellent development and profitable growth path will continue."

In 2022, Leinolat Group took a large turnover leap from the 30-million-euro level up to over 40 million euros. Last year, the new level was maintained, and everything indicates that the 40-million-euro mark will be broken again this year.

"We have now established ourselves as a player with over 40 million euros in turnover, so reaching 50 million feels like a natural next step", says Lars-Erik Schöring, looking at his successor with a twinkle in his eye.
